We zijn verheugd om Will in 2023 te ondersteunen, terwijl hij ernaar streeft zijn voortdurend ontwikkelende carrière in triatlon op de middellange afstand te verbeteren en zijn debuut te maken in triatlon op lange afstanden. Hij is onlangs verhuisd naar het triatlonmekka Leeds in het Verenigd Koninkrijk – om samen met enkele zeer succesvolle atleten te trainen, zoals de Olympische kampioenen AListair en Jonny Brownlee. Will begon in 2018 met triatlon voordat hij zijn professionele debuut maakte in 2021; hij is echter geen onbekende in sport, aangezien hij eerder nationale titels heeft behaald toen hij als jeugd deelnam aan zowel weg- als baanwielrennen. Op 17-jarige leeftijd begon hij internationaal te racen door Spanje, België en Nederland als junior wielrenner in races zoals de Ronde van Vlaanderen en Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne. Nu, 23 jaar oud, zal Will zich het komende seizoen concentreren op het verbeteren van zijn zwemmen, zodat hij dichter bij de voorkant het water kan verlaten, zodat hij kan profiteren van zijn sterke fiets en van de fiets kan rennen.
We’re excited to support Will throughout 2023 as he looks to improve on his continually developing career in middle distance triathlon and make his debut at long course triathlon. He recently relocated to the triathlon mecca of Leeds in the UK – to train alongside some very successful athletes such as the Olympic champions AListair and Jonny Brownlee. Will started competing in triathlon in 2018 before making his professional debut in 2021; however, he is no stranger to sports as he has previously held national titles when competing in both road and track cycling events as a youth. Age 17 he started racing internationally throughout Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands as a junior cyclist in races such as the Tour of Flanders and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne. Now 23 years old, Will’s focus over the coming season is to continue improving his swim so he can exit the water closer to the front allowing him to capitalise on his strong bike and run off the bike.
